Membership at Peace Community Church
What Happens during the Discovering Membership sessions?
- Learn what it means to become a member of PCC
- Understand the core beliefs of being a Christian
- Learn more about the RCA denomination, the church government of PCC as well as our doctrines and sacraments
- Understand the expectations of being a member of the body
- Prepare yourself for an elder interview and to be received as a new member
1. A personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Our first priority is to make sure that everyone who commits to membership at Peace understands what it means to know Jesus as Lord and Savior.
2. Complete the Discovering Membership at Peace Community Church small group sessions.
3. Meet with an Elder for further membership approval by the Consistory.
4. Participate in a membership covenant and be received by the congregation at a Sunday morning worship service.
