Pastor Kurt Kruger, Senior Pastor
 kurtkruger@peaceinfrankfort.org   ext. 121
Area of Ministry:  Senior Pastor - preaching, teaching, church leadership
Education:  B.S. and M.S. Eastern Illinois University; M.Div. Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary.  Additional graduate work at Western Theological Seminary.  Additional post-graduate work at Reformed Theological Seminary.  Ordination-Reformed Church in America
Family:  I have been married to my wife Dawn for 23 years.  Dawn teaches kindergarten, which is what she always wanted to do.  We have a daughter Kylie, 19, who is in college majoring in occupational therapy.  Our son Erick 17, is a junior in high school.
Favorite Verse and Why:  I do not have a life verse or one particular favorite.  God has spoken powerfully and personally to me through His word, but He has used different verses and passages during differing seasons of my life.  I am a big fan of the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20).
Passion:  One of my passions is preaching Scripture with clarity so that people understand what the Bible means.  I want people to walk away on a Sunday morning with a clear understanding of that particular passage.  I want people to say, "I get it - that makes sense!"  I also want people to walk away with their hearts quickened by the power of the Holy Spirit; filled with an uncontrollable desire to know and serve God out of gratitude for everything He has done for us in Jesus Christ.

Tamara McDonald, Church Administrator

ext. 116
Area of Ministry:  Church Administrator
Education:  BBA from Walsh College of Acountancy and Business Administration
Family:  I've been married to my husband David for 23 years.  Our son Marcus is a Corporal in the Marines and our daughter Marissa is in her second year at North Park University.  I feel especially blessed to have my extended family close by.
Favorite Verse and Why: Ephesians 2:8-10, "For it is by grace that you have been saved, through faith and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God - not by works, so that no one can boast.  For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do."  Jeremiah 29:11 "For I know the plans I have for you declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." These verses have always reminded me that God is sovereign over my life and that He created me, uniquely and purposefully for His Kingdom work.  It is probably not surprising that these verses that emphasize grace, faith and service are meaningful for someone who has the gift of Administration!
Passion:  My passion is to provide opportunities for the church body to serve the Kingdom, especially in the area of helping the poor.  I am especially fond of organizations like Feed My Starving Chidren, Samaritan's Purse Operation Christmas Child Shoebox Ministry, and Church World Service's CROP Hunger Walk.

Rhonda Fister, Communications/Media Director
rhondafister@peaceinfrankfort.org   ext. 118
Area of Ministry:   Communications/Media
Education:  B.S. DePaul University in Business/Computers/Education,  Additional education:  Moody Bible Institute - Biblical Studies, St. Stephens University - Worship Leadership.
Family:  I've been married to my husband Dave for 30 years.  We have 4 children, Dave 28, Matt, 24, Aaron 18, Lauren 15, and our  grandson Ryan is 7 years old.
Favorite Verse and Why:  I have lots! Here are a few: John 3:16 "For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son so that whoever believes in Him will not perish but have everlasting  life."  I love this one because it shows how much God really loves and cares for His children that He would lay down His life - what an ultimate sacrifice that is - causes me to raise my hands in worship!  My second one is Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you, "declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future."  This one gives hope in that He has a specific plan created uniquely for us,  He designed us, no one is like us, and He has great things planned for us!   And my other favorite Book is the Psalms...I'm a psalmist at heart!
Passion:  My passion is to turn wanderers into worshippers, to be a bridge to connect others to God, to lift up the name of God, to exalt His name and to write music that will bring hope and tell the story of His great love.  It is my desire to be an instrument of peace and light to bring a transforming message of hope and healing to the lost and downcast of this world.

 Judy Placzowski, Preschool Director

judyp@peaceinfrankfort.org  ext. 103
Area of Ministry:  Preschool
Family:  I have been married to my husband, Dave, for 34 years.  We have three children, Lisa who is a physical therapist, Paul who is an athletic trainer, and Abby who is a senior in high school.
Favorite verse and why:  One of my favorite verses is Proverbs 22:6 - Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old, he will not turn from it.  It is a favorite of mine because it reminds me that when parents lay the foundation for their children through faith in Jesus Christ, they have given them a solid foundation.
Passion:  Teaching children!  Every moment is a teachable moment!  It brings me such joy to be able to interact with so many children and their families through the preschool.  Link to the Peace Community Preschool website

Favorite Verse and Why:  Philippians 1:6 - And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus return (NLT).  This verse is an inspiration throughout the many transitions of life.  Additionally, as one ministering to families, I love the power, strength and hope of the commands in Psalm 78.
Passion:  Teaching children the best subject on the planet: THE GOSPEL!
