Discipleship Groups
Growing in Christ Together...There's a Group for YOU!

Can you imagine?
The morning of Pentecost there were only about 120 fearful directionless followers of Jesus Christ and now a few hours after the Apostles received the Holy Spirit, the first church is born and ends up being a mega church.  I can almost hear the Apostles say, "How in the world are we going to disciple 3,000 brand new believers?"  Well, the Bible in Acts 2:42-47 tells us exactly what they did and I believe it's the same thing God wants us to do today.

They devoted themselves...
Verse 42 says they devoted themselves to the Apostles teaching, to fellowship, the breaking of bread and prayer.  That's exactly what we are going to be doing in our Discipleship Groups.  One of the things we're going to do is see what the Word of God has to say for our life today.

Fellowship in Homes...
The first believers met in homes for fellowship.  Everyone needs to be connected and cared for and that can only happen when we invest our lives in each other, celebrate the good things God is doing and serve and love one another.  We will also pray for one another.

When do groups meet?
Our groups will meet every other week on various nights from mid-September through May and wil be led by a gifted Shepherd/Leader who has been trained to lead small groups.
