Faith in God is rooted in His Holy Scriptures. The Psalmist prays unto the LORD “open my eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of thy law.” (Psalm 119:18)
When we humble ourselves in submission to God’s Word our faith grows strong and our hope becomes more certain. And when our faith is strong and our hope is more certain barriers to love, like greed, envy, pride covetousness and fear are overcome. We become a spiritual man driven by the truth of God’s Word.
An important part of that renewal process is group Bible study. Together, as one man, we examine God’s Word, discussing what is being said while seeking ways of applying these eternal truths to our lives.
As Men of Peace our ultimate goal is to glorify God and enjoy Him forever, remembering always that God has given us His word that me might know Him, and know Him completely.
“My covenant was a covenant of life and peace, and I gave them to him, that he might fear; and he feared me, he stood in awe of my name.” (Malachi 2:5)
