One of the main distinctive of Reformed theology is its adherence to the Scripture alone as the sole rule of faith and practice. Therefore, hold tightly to what are called the "Doctrines of Grace". The Doctrines of Grace are, to Reformed believers, the consistent teaching of the Scriptures that God is in complete control of the Salvation of Man. They are the vital truths that are taught in God's holy Word that reveal His glory in the salvation of His people.
These 5 main assertions were codified by the Synod of Dort in 1610, in response to 5 articles published by Jacobus Arminius. They are more popularly known as the Five points of Calvinism.
They are:
Total Depravity
Unconditional Election
Limited Atonement
Irresistible Grace
Perseverance of the Saints.
The beautiful TULIP as it were.
Here are some resources to help in the exposition of each of these points. I encourage you to seek them out, listen and read. For some it will be a challenge to get a grip on these grand assertions, to others it will be a welcome revival and encouragement.
Either way, take a listen. I'll be writing my own thoughts on each as time permits. Of course, after reading these articles and listen to these audio teachings, you may do a better job :)
Blessings
